I am buying a 1995 ski boat with an inboard Mer cruser 350 magnum tournament ski power plant. I have checked out the Mercury web site and was disapointed with the lack information on the engine. I have also processed a number of internet search actions which yielded little to nothing on the power plant - negative or positive. Does anyone have an opinion, information or anything on the power plant. Thank you in advance for your input

I've Had three inboard ski boats all of which had Ford based 351 and 302 engines with no complaints whatsoever....Mercruser 350 is a great engine... I have friends who have Mercruser engines and never have heard them say on bad thing about it.. The mercruiser 350 is a chevy based engine so parts are easy to find should you need them... As far as I'm concerned Inboards are the only way to go...
