Hello All,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I am going to replace the deck in 1995 Larson this fall. Prior to starting that project, I have a nagging issue I hope someone can help me with. In my ignorence, I stored my boat under a blue PVC tarp one year. Apparently the PVC broke down in the environment, and left purple staining on a lot of the vinyl seating. Does anyone here know of a way to remove this purple staining?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I dont know how it would affect the vinyl, but you might try acetone on a terrycloth rag

since its white...probably not. most plastic companies dont use much white pigment in their white materials. the raw material is clear if virgin and already white if recycled. since there isnt much pigment, it sucks up pigment like a sponge.

good luck!!! and if it does work, aplease let me know what you did :D
