Spray some WD 40 in the key hole and work the key a couple of times. reaks up light corrosion on the contacts. That may help.

Depending upon engine-- If you have a 3 cylinder engine, the gaskets that seal the airbox to the carbs may have swollen and may be jamming the stop levers on the choke shafts. If this is the case, simply trim them a little.

Thanks guys. I will give a little wd-40 a try first then it does not work I will try the circuit breaker. I was all little embarrassing when I wanted to leave a restaurant and I had to take the cover off to push the choke manually.

Like those guys said. The solenoid needs to be lubed up regurarly. Mine wasnt working a while ago. I pushed the ignition key in and out about 100 times and it has worked ever since. I'm sure it's just corrosion in the switch or maybe on the terminals.

good thing the breakers are cheep. I hope it works for you. U see when the breaker is bad it dont get the right amount of curent it need for it. try j
a jumper wire and see if the solenoid works.
