PUSH OR PULL CABLES

im upgrading the engine on my boat to a 50 hp late 70's johnson, my question is are the control "push" or 'pull". the reason is i have yet to pick up the motor but am looking at getting a foot throttle for safety reasons, and some of the brands are push or pull specific.<br /><br />also any suggestions on what type of throttle performs better fit form and fuctionwize would be great!

The Johnson is a push but dont worry about that. Get a Hot Foot from Bobs Machine - it'll go both ways. No jokes please!<br /><br />Good luck!

thanks! i was just looking at that unit looks nice, has a toe clip too, and very competitivly priced
