got a pontoon with a 1979 35hp Johnson 35EL79A. the push to choke at the dash doesn't work. thought it was the switch, replaced it with a new one did not help. tried a different set of controls and it works. After more looking found that the wiring from the dash is different than the wiring at the motor and its been spliced under the floor. need help connecting the wirers correctly. the key wirers are red/purple, black, black/yelo, purple/white, and yelo/red. The wirers at the motor are red/purple, white, blue, blue/white, and purple white.
