Just bought this 1975 Crestliner Muskie 770 with 115 HP Merc. Boat needs a lot of work but trailer and motor is in good condition.
I think the boat has been uncovered for some time and there is water collected in the bilge. There was a small damaged spot on the keel that dripped water so yesterday I drilled through it and drained about 5 gal of water. I knew I'd have to make a repair to the keel as well as replace all the carpet and probably repaint. My question is, does anybody know how the floor is attached to the hull? I'd like to remove a section to allow the interior to completely dry out before I patch the keel. The floor itself seem pretty sound and the boat is in Colorado so much less chance of rot but that will have to be seen.
