now that i have em off to change out the throttle controls, i might as well sand em down and refinish correctly. after i get the old raised grain and varnish off with 100 grit, i was going to use several coats of thinned epoxy on all sides, then sand again with 220-320 grit and cover with satin polyurethane varnish to get rid of the "resin casting" look. is there a better way? any problems anyone can see with this approach?
gracias.........
