Quadrajet Accelerator Pump Rod in Rebuild Kit

The last time I bought a rebuild kit for my 17084516 Rochester Quadrajet (Quicksilver 823426A1) the pump rod was too long. I can only find one supplier (Quadrajet Parts.com rebuild kit part 4017) that has the shorter pump rod. Does any other supplier offer the rebuild kit with the proper pump rod length? I don't want to pay the $48 delivery and the unknown costs to get it over the border. Sierra part 18-7095 says it's for my carb but I can't confirm the pump rod length.

Many quadrajet kits I have used in the past had the wrong rod so I would just put the new cup on the original rod.
