if the cowl hasnt been changed, and is origonal it is an early '80's (81-84)

I agree with lucas_chrysler_1. I have a 1985 Force 125. Exact same cowl with different stickers.

I just bought it and it is original, going back to pick it up in a few days and will have serial number. It has less than 10 hours on it. Looks brand new under the hood and the decals and paint are original. It is on a 1981 bass boat (but motor could be younger or older), indoor kept for the last 25 or so years but luckily fired up for a few minutes every few months . Kits in carbs, seafoam and new gas, plugs, etc as soon as I get it home. It cranks and runs fine just as I bought it too. I was considering the automotive ignition conversion...would you do it? I will post pics of powerhead soon, you will **** in your pants when you see this barn find. It looks like it just came out of the crate.

1981 I think. 1981 and 1982 the decals are similar but the place were the numbers 85 are attached are different. 1981 85 just below "Chr" in Chrysler and 1982 just below "hry" in Chrysler but check the modelnumber with the list at maxrules.com for sure.

Serial Number is 1070 and model number is 850HIC
Looks like it doesn't have points either.
