I feel kind of stupid asking this question, but I can't figure it out. I use two different computers at times, depending where I am at, to read the forums. On one computer when i ansewer a post I click on the Quick reply on the lower right side of post, type in responce and submit reply.

When I use the second computer to ansewer a post, i click on the same icon and I have the question automatically apear with quotes in the reply box. I can't seem to figure out how to eliminate the quote in the reply box.

I am sure there is a simple ansewer for this but I can't figure it out, any suggestions?

Clarify this. Does the reply include the previous posters post like the one above this post?

Yes it does. I can eliminate the problem by clicking on the post reply icon on the lower left corner.
When I do that I loose all the post replys that were made previously.

Re: Question about ansewering a post

I have that "problem" with one of my computers ... hit the quick reply button and you get the quote of the response where the button resided. Doesn't do it with Mozilla, but does with IE8. Didn't do it with IE7, but when I changed to IE8 it did.

Don't know why, I either just delete the quote, or use the post reply button at the end of the thread.

The previous posts are there for reference, you just have to go further down the page to see them.

If I understand your question, all you would have to do is click "Post Reply", lower left of post. If you click the "Quick Reply Icon" you will also post the prior post as a quote......I maybe wrong but that's what I've experienced.

BTW, Mozilla has solved a lot of issues here for me . . . I NEVER use IE anymore . . . anywhere . . .
