You'll please excuse me... but this is my first "enclosed boat" (88 Century 4500 LX bowrider)... my other boats have been Boston Whalers... this isn't a cuddy... but I noticed when washing down the bow area this weekend that it didn't look like the water was getting from the bow to the bilge... I in-fact can't see any way for the water to get from upfront back into the engine boot where the bilge is... I'm going to test this weekend (clear bilge, and then see if running water in bow area will get back there...

but shouldn't there be some sort of opening in the front of the engine compartment that drains the hull into the bilge? Also does anyone know where to inspect the hull on a boat like this? It has a 75GAL fuel tank which I can see... but I can't find any other openings...

thanks in advance
