I was doing my winterization and noticed something about the carb that I think is wrong, but I don't know for sure and wanted to ask the experts. I have a '95 Mercruiser 5.6L V6 180hp.
With the engine off and the carb cover off, I noticed that the plate that covers 2 of the 4 barrels didn't seem to be right to me. The plate is open without the engine on or at WOT. Shouldn't the plate exposing the last 2 barrels only be open at WOT? It seemed like the actuator wasn't working correctly. Can someone give me some insights if the below looks correct or not?
