question about coils

I have a 1979 evinrude 70 hp and i would like to know if all the coils should be the same ?
i have one that is different then the other two that are on there now.. thanks

some one in the past may have put an aftermarket coil on the engine. or a coil that has replaced the original. if they have numbers on them, try to cross reference the part numbers. they should all be equivilent. just a note, your middle carb does have different number than the top and bottom. just for knowledge.

Yep, just probably a upgraded new coil..I would do the other for $20 while you're in there..​
