Question about exhaust

I was idling my engine on muffs today and noticed that there was water coming from the exhaust hole in the center of the prop. I know the water usually comes from the holes on the gimbal housing when its idling, but never noticed it coming from the prop. Is this Normal? :confused:It wasn't a ton of water, but it was enough to notice. This is my first boat and have only had it a few months, so I just want to make sure everything is ok.

I appreciate all the help. I have been learning tons just from reading other posts. What a great resource this site is.

Re: Question about exhaust

Howdy,

At idle, most of the water normally will exit at the base of the gimbal mount and if you have an exhaust bellows installed, a small amount may also come out of the center of the prop.
