Quick Update:
I went over to help my buddy with his SeaRay 270 Merc 7.4 Bravo 3 . . .
He had drained down the gear lube and it looked good. So, we pulled the drive, checked the alignment, checked the bearings, greased everything . . . and then filled the outdrive with lube.
I used Chris's technique where you fill the outdrive on its side at an inclined angle, and it was awesome, so I'm sold . . . I'll be doing the same on my outdrive going forward. :thumb:
