Re: Question about getting my boat to plane well?
I just hope I can enjoy it as much with a buncha friends!
My boat is almost always more fun with friends on board; it doesn't go quite as fast, but I like boating with other people (most of the time). It only knocks off a few miles per hour with 6 onboard.
Look around the boat and see what items can be moved forward like the batteries and other things that you will have to or want to have aboard.
Remember, you are the captain of your vessel, and everyone's well being is your responsibility; don't be afraid to have people move about the boat as you need them to in order to correct a list or to get the boat to plane faster. If you find you are planing too slowly, move a couple of bigger folk to the bow until you are planed out then let them move aft once underway.
