Well along with my many other problems i've had with this motor (most of which i've overcome thanx to you guys) My lower unit oil is really milky....I know this means waters been getting in the lower unit so i'm going to have to combat that problem...but my question and problem now is how to clean out the old oil and put in new clean oil....I opened the screw to drain out the old oil...then i pumped in new oil (i have a 1972 50 hp hydro-electric shift) so i used the correct oil.... (4.75 a bottle ...mumble mumble....) but when i put the new oil in it came out the same as the old oil..all milky.... So i figure theres some oil hiding up in there somewhere i can't get out and i was wondering whats the best method of cleaning it out....i can't keep pumping that expensive oil in there and just wasting it...so what should i do?
