It's great you posted the specs but we need to know what performance you are getting now before we can suggest any change. Check the stickies at the top of the forum to see what's needed in your question.

Sorry about that! I'm making about 35 miles per hour at top speed doing 4700 rpm's. The boat gets out of the hole like crazy but I don't need lots of pulling power. i feel like having that much torque is going to be wasting fuel. Also i want to keep up with my buddy who can do like 45 mph, i dont know if this is a possibility but i'd sure like to try!

Based on your figures if your doing 35 your at about 29% slip.
Very high.Is your speed by gps? More normal would be about 10%At 10% you would be about
44 mph. Is your prop in excellent condition? Do you trim up for best speed?
Does the boat respond when you trim up?Your setup seems real good except for the speed.
