My 2004 150 optimax, while at idle, has a lot of steam that comes from the exhaust ports. It is not smoke, but steam. If I speed the motor up just a little bit the steam stops. Once I return the engine to idle the steam returns. Also by raising the rpms just a little bit the engine water temp. drops rapidly. At idle the temp runs between 150 and 156. As soon as I speed the engine just a few rpms the temp drops back to about 100 to 110. Is the steam issue and the temp. issue normal for these engines? <br /><br />Alan Kee
