I'm new to this forum (and boating in general). If this question is in the wrong place, I apologize in advance.<br /><br />I just purchased a 1978 Venture boat with a rebuilt Evinrude 115 (the engine is also a 1978). So far I've had a few minor problems and I've been able to solve them all, with the exception of two:<br /><br />1) The low pressure return line on the trim unit is busted. My local marine repair says that their supplier has the line on a 1 month (or more) back order. Is there a place that might be able to get it quicker?<br /><br />2) The engine is in great shape, but the hood cover (I hope that's what you call it) has been beat to hell by gravel or something small. Can you buy replacement hoods? I've looked around the internted and can find nothing.<br /><br />Thanks again for any help or advice. I'm very new to this so I hope I've used the correct terminology.
