Thanks for your advices. I checked my engine with Rinda Techmate Pro diagnostic tool and currently it detects three faults: 75 Fuel lvl 1 circuit, 94 Pitot pressure and 130 trim sensor pressure. I expected this faults but I found some disturbing faults in memory: 8 engine guardian limiting power at 663 rpm which lasted 84 seconds, shift anticipate switch fault, 153 drive lube bottle low and maximum rpm exceed at 643 rpm. I also tried to proceed induced misfire test with diagnostic tool, first and second cylinders were alright, when I tried to test the rest Rinda showed pcm hardware error and I couldn't proceed further - anyone of you guys know why it doesn't work or should I write to Rinda technologies? Tomorrow I'll also check flaps in Y pipe if I will have access cause it seems rather deep in the back of the hull. Is there anyway to check if cap and rotor are oK? I will have to wait for two weeks for delivery and also it seems to be quite difficult to replace by myself since I don't have too much experience as self made mechanic ;)

if your cap and rotor are older than 2 years, simply replace them. if you have the crab cap, assume its crap and replace (its a poor design, and prone to failure)

I would rely less on Rhinda and simply perform the balance test as a start (only requires spark plug wire pliers). this will narrow down which cylinder you are having problems with. essentially going back to IC engine 101 diagnostic methods.

use a mirror to check the flaps or your cell phone to see where you cant get your head.

elevation of poland is 173meters (about 560'), you should be able to spin a 21P all day long with an MPI 4.3 well above 4000 RPM. your motor is sick. your faults indicate that there are a few things going on.

Ok

so the first group of faults you listed are standard faults that will always show up on your set up (and mine) ie the pilot fault. There are from memory at least 3/4 faults that will always show with this engine and alpha set up. You just need to ignore or block them.

Having read others posts about the drive ratio etc. Yeah. It seams the 1.62 ratio is not as well suited to the Mpi as the 1.81 is to the carb.
I may be wrong, but I assumed my friends maxum 19 sr bowrider, with 4.3 carb...had a 1.62. It will achieve a solid 50mph gps with half a tank, trimmed up and will touch the limiter on occasion with a 21” Laser 2. Perhaps it is in fact a 1.81. Goes well in any case. It’s a shame the mpi can’t better the carb on Performance all because of an ill suited ratio.
