I recently installed a tell tale with the directions provided on this forum. I just had a quick quesiton. With the mufs on and the warm up lever pulled the tell tale squirts water but every few seconds it kinda sputters like theres a little bit of air coming out. I had to go with a bigger size hose and fitting than was recommended because i couldnt find a elbow as small as the one that was told to use. I used a elbow with that has an 1/8 inch iner diameter and a 1/4 inch fuel line for the hose that comes off it. The water is flowing but i was just wondering if this is something to be worried about. i just replaced the water pump and i want to make sure everything is perfect before i take it out.

Re: Question about tell tale

You're probably bleeding off a lot of water pressure with an outlet that big. How large is the hole at the end of the tube?

Re: Question about tell tale

Try a restrictor in the end of the hose brad. Maybe putting a smaller diameter hose the the main hose. Quarter inch does sound a little large.
(edit) Whats the HP Brad?

Re: Question about tell tale

Actually, size the hole down a lot. I really recommend you use the OEM fittings listed in the FAQ. Especially, and most importantly, the bulkhead outlet.
