I have a very old Traveler Comet ski boat with a Evinrude 40hp. I am without generator and/or Alternator so I need to recharge my starter battery between uses...no big deal.
I would like to buy another battery to use for a small music system and my running lights. I will most likely add a cheap depth/fish finder as I plan to dive off this boat.
Now I imagine there is a intersection box or something that I can wire different devices too that goes between the battery and devices? Maybe a fuse box of some kind? Can anyone point me to a link to read or give me some ideas on how I can acheive what I am trying to do?
I am a Pc nerd and really dont know a lot about wiring...any help is appreciated.
