I'm curious. Do you actually type 'Ayuh' out at the beginning of every post or do you copy/paste it from post to post? :p

Texas? Nope, never been there and there is absolutely no reason to go either.

;)

YE HAAAAAA
That's good, cause if you are not from here we prefer you not to be here. (kidding)

I actually would go anywhere my job required me to go. The farthest I have been away from the gorgeous Lone Star State is NC.

To be serious, there are many beautiful places in this country that we all share and can travel to. Although I seriously doubt there is any place more beautiful than my Texas I wont rule it out.

I made my original comment about Maine because some fella called me a "hoser".:D

Oh I know why you said it. LOL

Had a couple from Texas show up here a few years ago. i was on my motorcycle and they asked directions. i was going right by and told them to follow me. Struck up a conversation and they bought me lunch.

Can't remember what part they were from but they were having a good time.

Nice people. Said i had quite the accent. roflmao

Told them I never noticed I had one.... :D

Its funny how you never notice your own accent. I work with a guy from New Jersey. He cant say Saturday he says Sateday (I cant spell exactly how he says it) . I pointed out how funny his accent sounded, he pointed out how I sound like the rednecks in the movies.

Ayuh,... If you happened to be a Maineiac,...and there's Only a couple million of Us,...
There's Only 2 kinds of people on earth,....
Those from Here,+ those from Away....
And,...
Those from Away are easy to spot,... They All talk Funny....

Btw,... I've been All over Texas,.... It Sucks in My book....
It's Toooo danm Hot,+ there ain't no Trees.....
I suppose if you're into Rattlesnakes,+ Sand,... It's probably a nice place to call Home.....

There is no P in ayuh. Coming from a guy actually from Maine, wannabe :D

How Boston people say Boston? Bahhhston (3 h's minimum, more encouraged) :p

I love how people never want to come to Maine. Seattle, WA people keep up the fear that it always rains there and Mainers don't disspell the fear there is nothing in Maine worth seeing.

Re: Question for Bond-O

Since this has turned into a preference of States..
Nothing beats my home state of California! (Southern Calif to be more precise)

Mountains..Beaches..Deserts....Politics and Cost of living aside..There is no other state I'd rather live in..

Re: Question for Bond-O

Well, if it's a debate on the best state to live, everyone is gonna say their state is the best. But we all know that Florida is the best state to live in. That's why we get all these northerner transplants. Surrounded by water, and the keys has the most beautiful, crystal clear water around. And we got the best beaches. I was born in Houston, but moved here when I was two, so I guess that makes me a native?? As far as the north goes, snow is beautiful . . . IN A POSTCARD OR PICTURE!!! I saw snow for five months, and that is more than enough to last a lifetime. Down here in Florida, we have to deal with bitter, sub-zero, freezing temperatures of 55 degrees in the winter! How can people live in this cold?

Re: Question for Bond-O

I am often tempted to move to Florida,m but the whole 'can't swim in anything' policy keeps me away. Coming from the North I'm picky about living to swim another day. I would, however, live in CA in a moment if money were no object. I lived in La Jolla for a spell and had a wonderful time (75F every day). It was simply too expensive for me.

Rattlesnake taste good, it snows in some parts of Texas and there are plenty of trees. You must have only traveled a normal States worth of land.:D
The parts that are hot (like Houston) are pretty uncomfortable. The tradeoff is a year round boating season. It?s a good tradeoff IMO.
