Hi John,I went to a different prop this year and the boat seems to have more lift in the stern.I am getting a little blow-out when i'm about 3000 rpm then hammer on the throttle.I went from a 20 pitch to a 19 pitch SS,lost about 3mph WOT.
Could backing the tabs off a bit help the problem?
I don't want to get the porpoising back..

Thanks.

Don't know where John is, but you are absolutly right. Playing with them is half the fun. I want them on my new to me boat, but I`m not sure the transom configuration will allow it.

I see a set of those Mobster Smart tabs on your new ride LD...8)8)

The last time i backed the Tabs off a little more i got the porpoising back..The new prop may help with that though...
The water gets a little warmer i'll have to do the trial and error...Its 54 degrees now and i'm not getting in it...may adjust them in a little on the trailer and test the next time out..
