Question for the Mods

It has been a while since anyone has sent me a PM so if what I'm asking already exists then forgive my aging forgetful brain.

I've noticed that on many posts someone who has sent a PM will post in that thread "PM sent". My question is; Can it be set up that when someone sends a PM, the recipient will also receive an email to their regular email account? I belong to a couple of forums that do this and thought that might be a nice feature for here.

Sometimes it may be a day or two in between my logging on to the site and I may not know I have a PM waiting for me.

That happens now if you select it in your User Area.

Well, except: If your home Email is aol. AOL seems to block Emails from iboats.com. Our IT guys are trying to get that fixed, but no luck so far.

Here is what I did: I opened an Email account at Gmail, then have all messages FWD to my aol address. Changed my Email addy in User Area to the Gmail address.
