Okay let me start by saying yes I remember when you warned me about those 470/170 setups. Well it has creeped up and bit me in the butt and I need a little help.

My 3.7 470/170 has a slight problem. I have antifreeze in the rear cylinder. I am ready to tackle to head gasket (being the lessor of all problems). Upon examing the motor it appears that I might be able to remove the head and leave the manifolds attached. According to the local boat "stealership" I was quoted that it is an 8 hour job and both manifolds HAD to be removed.

I keep looking and I think otherwise. Has anyone attempted this?

Sorry Trent I know I should have listened.
