When are you making the big trek north for your Crestliner.

I still can't keep a pickup date w/ my SC in King George over your way.......:( And I've got a line on a cheap parts boat over your way too....

JB,

Leaving Sunday and plan on being back home on Tuesday, then prep my Jeep for my wife to go on a trip on Thursday til Sunday. My poor Jeep is going to see about 5 thousand miles in a week's time!! I'd offer to swing by and pick the boats up and store them at my place til you can swing by and get them but it'll be at least another 2 wks before I'd be able to. The offer is there if you need....I only ask that the paying process is done on the boat with the seller if you need me to swing by and pick one of them up for you. I won't sign any paperwork and be held to any responsibility for any of it....but i'll offer a storage place for a few weeks if you need it.

Actually, I was looking at a motor at RawHide. But I've pretty much decided against it. If I'd had a chance to see the trailer & inspect it, maybe I'd offer to pay your gas this way. But thank you a great deal. The parts boat is similar to your Crestliner. I was interested in the windshield and motor. I haven't decided about it yet.

The SC has been paid in full for 9days:facepalm:.

You can almost make it to the West Coast & back in 5K mi. Big week for the Jeep.

When I can get a firm trip, I'll let you know, maybe swing by & see the Crestliner.

Safe travels to all.

JB,

Shoot me a PM and Google map on where this paid for boat is....if it's under 40 miles from me, I'll run get it tomorrow or at the latest Wednesday and park it at my place, I'll PM you my addy.... and when you're ready to come pick it up I'll have it pulled up to the front driveway. It's no biggie...I store at least 1 boat at my house for my catfishin' buddies all the time. In fact, got a friend driving back from TX right now (should be in around 9:30-10 pm) to pick up his 24 ft. Pro Cat SeaArk ($$$)) I just took a break from prepping it for him, still have to load his 13 fishing rods and tackle yet.
Really it's no biggie....depending on how far I have to drive...just throw me some $$ for fuel is all I ask.

Oh by the way, I too was looking at 2 OB's at Rawhide...I was getting this crazy idea to stick 2 OB inside the boat I purchased...1-100HP and 1-85 HP.....now that I think about it, I'm glad I didn't bid on them because I don't know the overall condition of this trailer and to dump that much more weight on it and that much weight on the floor of a boat that I don't know the true condition of....probably wouldn't be a wise decision. So I passed on both of them....they sold dirt cheap. :(
