I have a 25' boat that I've owed for a few years. In the past, my toilet has required to be emptied a few times per season. Now this year, it seams that it needs emptied every time out even with little use.
I replaced the pump assembly a couple of years ago, and I always make sure that the switch on the pump is on dry bowl, but I still get excess water in the tank.
I have a Jabsco toilet, and I was going to buy a new one, but in looking at the manual on line (which I didn't get with the boat), it says to shut the sea **** after every use, and when you moore the boat. Ok, I can see that, but mine is in an out of the way location, and is a real pain to get to. I haven't done it the past 3-4 years. Am I just lucky? Or should I replace the toilet?
I can see the force of the water coming up the line into the toilet without the sea **** closed, but to have to close it every time we use it would be a real pain? What about adding a second one up in the head?
