Question on spark plug wires

I recently put a brand new set of plug wires on.Engine runs great.I put some dielectric grease on the coil end of the wires but not the spark plug ends.Should I have put some inside the spark plug boot too?

Don't have to. Silicon grease aids in removal and helps to eliminate air that could oxidize from the high voltage (ozone) and cause corrosion. Never used it before high energy electronic ignitions came along.<br /><br />Mark
