If I go to raise my trim it won't raise. If I jump the solenoid with a wire it will raise fine. However, here is the deal. Once I have been out in the boat running it it will raise fine. It would seem to be a low battery, but I don't think so. The battery stayed in the boat all winter and started the boat just fine this spring with no assistance. It only does it when I first go to raise it. Like I said after running it runs up fine. Never has a problem lowering btw. I took all the connections off and cleaned them. Haven't messed with the switch.

Re: question on trim

If ALL the connections are clean and tight, it may be just an intermittant solenoid.

Re: question on trim

won't move up at all at first. trailering or not until the boat is run a bit. Then always works. I can hear the solenoid click but no raise. I took all connections off and cleaned then with a wire brush. So it may be an odd solenoid.
