Wouldn't be the first time the carb needle valve got stuck closed and the float does not have enough weight to bring it back down. Might need to shoot a small amount of compressed air into where the fuel line connects to carb

This is good news except for the no squirt part :)
To be sure I understand what you have done, I am going to restate in my own words, please confirm if correct: By jumping out the relay you have confirmed its pumping gas all the way up to the carb. Correct?

Now did you leave it running for 30 or 45 seconds (heck can just leave it running) and then stroked the throttle looking for a squirt?
  • This is the part that I am usure of > did you provide enough time to fill the carb float bowl back up (vs just ‘fill the line’)? Hopefully my question make sense.
Here is a vid I found showing the squirt to look for link. If indeed you do not have a squirt, then its carb rebuild time.

Also, does not matter throttle lever forward or reverse, the carb only knows closed to open back to close. You may have noticed there was no difference in movement of the linkage at the carb regardless of moving the throttle lever fwd or reverse.

That was my question to myself as well, whether I gave sufficient time to fill the bowls. Will try again and update y’all. 👍🏼

Just a little follow up- I did confirm that I filled the carburetor bowl when jumping the pump. However, still did not get fuel into the mix chamber when exercising the throttle. All the exterior linkages appear to move, but not sure about the internals. I will look for videos on carburetor rebuild and disassembly. Appreciate your help and welcome any feedback. Thanks-

How did you do this? Based on time pump was running or did you look inside the carb? With your answer, i will be able to provide more guidance. Thx

Two things: I heard the pump audibly change (I was thinking the float rose and shut off the inlet valve-- so was deadheading the pump). Then not seeing any flow into the carburetor when exercising the throttle- I decided to see if the 4 bolts on the front when removed would yield any idea of what was inside. I removed the top two bolts and then removed the 3rd one of the lower bolts and gas poured out of the hole when I got it removed. Led me to believe that fuel was indeed getting to the bowls- just no further.

You can see the top two bolts circled in blue, when I removed the left bottom (#3) bolt gasoline poured out.

So I am believing I am getting sufficient fuel into the bowl.

Ok, that is what I was thinking. I will look into the rebuild kit. Thanks to everyone for all the help and guidance!👍🏼
