question regarding my fabulous force!

could anybody confirm the year of my 9.9 force?<br />serial # is 0e090464 only other # i could find on the motor was rw617532. if this is not enough info to find the year i,m wondering where on the motor to look for the relevant info?any ideas?

The serial number doesn't quite look right.<br />Are you sure the third character is a "0" zero?<br />It could be a '96 '97 '98.<br />If older than that, then I have no clue.

I had a link to Force serial numbers but lost it. This info I did find was off the Mercury site but only list years before 1992 which used a different numbering system.

ty roscoe...i,m sure its either a zero or an o .i,ve been told its anywhere from a 95 to a 98 ....i just wanted to narrow it down to an excact year ...i,ll keep looking i guess.ty for your help though.
