Question regarding Radars for the Lowrance 9 Live unit?

I purchased the Lowrance 9 Live Fish Finder and now want to add a Radar system it, Dose it have to be a Lowrance Radar or will a Furuno/Garmin system interface with this unit okay?

Nope....radar is proprietary to mfg.

Might be able be to use a Simrad (parent company of Lowrance) radar but not Furuno, Garmin or Raymarine
