I plan on wiring up a am fm radio on my boat and some lights. How should i go about this. Should i just run straight to the battery or not? All i got right now is the battery cables to the 75hp chrysler elec start. Or is there a safer or diffenrt way than what im thinking. I know ill have to have a few differnt toggle switches if i do that. And do i have to put a inline fuse for each?

Thanks

Chris

Re: Question???

Chris,

Absolutlely, you want a fuse in each line.

I would think you would want to to be able to switch the lights on and off from the dash.

Re: Question???

Hi Chris
They have all sorts of neat little panels with switches and fuses. Yes you need fuses. Run one main power wire to the panel, then go from there. Actualy I used little circut breakers in my small 14Ft boat. They look like reset buttons, and the toggle switches have indecater lites on the ends. Look around there is some neat stuff available.
