question

i have a 93 40 hp johnson & a 05 8hp johnson 4 stroke as a kicker, both running off same tank. people are saying this will kill the vro on the 40 hp.
any truth or comments.

i don't see why. as long as the carb bowls are full on both motors, so the fuel pumps do not suck air thru the other carb. and it would loose prime then.
