Questions about a Force 125

I recently bought an old boat that has a bad motor. After looking for a little while I came across a late 80's early 90's 18 ft. Bayliner with cuddy cabin with a 125 Force motor. The boat sat outside uncovered and ruined the floor and interior. It is pretty cheap and I am really only wanting the engine. I know nothing about these motors and want advice on what to look for. I plan to check the compression and definatly hear it run, but won't be able to put it in the water and run it. I hear that some parts may be hard to find. Is there anything that I should know before buying one of these motors? Thanks.

That Force will not go on the Starcraft hull you have.
