Hi there, new to the site and have a couple of questions about Havasu on Labor Day weekend. I'm a new boat owner (Tige 24Ve) and have been to Havasu twice this summer, but usually on off weekends. It's been a blast and I'm fairly proficient at driving my boat at this point.
Wondering how crazy it's going to be this weekend, since we're taking a whole bunch of kids. My plan is to launch early (how early would you suggest, and where???), and head down river to find a quiet cove with a nice beach. Any suggestions about where to launch, how early to get there, and also where a good place would be to have the girls/kids meet us a few hours later to join us. I usually launch at Windsor, which hopefully won't be too busy at 7am, but I'm guessing it'll be a mad house hours later when the girls will want to meet us.
