I bought a prop for my 1970 mercruiser 120, 16ft, 1800lb boat. The guy at west marine didnt seem like he knew what he was doing. Is a 14 1/2 by 19 over propped?
Sounds like it might be, but what size was your old prop and what were your rpm's at wide open throttle (WOT). This link has a prop calculator that I would suggest you use, but please come back to iboats.com to make the purchase should you decide to buy online as iboats.com provides this forum for us free of charge. http://www.turningpointpropellers.com/
