QUICK HELP PLEASE

I have a chance to buy a MotorGuide Lazer II - L62ES Bow Gator Mount electric steer trolling motor with 62 lbs thrust; 24 volt; electric steering; 50" column; variable speed for $300.00 is this a good trolling motor. I have the Omc that came with my boat and I hate it. Please advise I have to act quick.

Yea it should I have a 18ft Ranger 364V. My OMC is like 48lbs they said, it ok, but I like to fish standing up and a manual offset motor is hard to control.<br /><br />I have heard bad things about motorguide? The electric steer sounds cool, but i have never used it.

Absolutly nothing wrong with Motorguide. You will love the versatility of electric steering.. Like I said, if you pass on it, let me know...
