1989 vip 18.5 foot. He says it runs good. New floor has already been done.
Also he said anything less than $1000 he will just keep it. opinions please.

theres still quite a bit of work left, and its only a 4 cylinder. you would more than likely find that you want more power very quickly. If it was me, I would definitely pass on it. I do like the VIPs, but this one needs alot of work and is underpowered in my opinion.

I would pass and buy one which is still together. Even if you have to do the work youself, it will likely be a better outcome, seeing as you have an idea of what the end result should be.

Ask him if he is an iboats member and decide accordingly

Me personally have never been impressed by the 2.3 liter and I was glad to see it was discontinued. I would walk away from that one.
