Quick prop question??

Ok this is a quick prop question, on the prop it says 48 16318 A4 19p.
I know what the 16318 (S/N) and the 19p is (prop pitch) but what does the 48 mean and the A4 (cup?)< the curve

Ayuh,...

(48) says it's a Merc. part #....
(16318 A4) is the part #...
(19p) is the pitch...
