Hey does anybody know what type of Hydraulic Fluid I need for the trim tabs on a 1985 21' Bayliner with a Chevy V8 Volvo Penta. Looks like it is very low almost empty. Wonder if I have a leak. How would I test a leak? The remaining Fluid is Red. I guess my question is there a special type of fluid in there that I need or is it just standard Hydraulic fluid? Is it even Hydraulic fluid. Is it some type of oil. I have no clue. Any help would be great!

Re: Quick Question 1985 Bayliner

There Should be another screw Right Near the Fill Screw,... That might actually be labeled "Vent"........

Labeled or Not,..... Finding+ Removing it will make the chore Much Easier..........
