Quicksilver 3000 classic help needed.

Hi Gang,

Being the dummy I am sometimes, I forgot to take pics of a few things!

I've attached a few pics of my shifter.

First question is where to the small pieces shown in my hand go? Are the suppose to fill the hole in the pot metal above the cables? For some other function/option my boat doesn't have? Or do the mount on the cable somehow?

Second question is I also forgot to take note how the cables are secured to the hull. I have 3 clips but forgot if the cables are routed above or below the side trim panel...
