Hello,
I just purchased a 1994 chaparral 1830 SS sport as a project boat.
It needs a motor and some interior work but is actually a simple project for me.
My question is the control lever.
I powered the dash the other day to check the gauges and trim etc.
I noticed while playing with the tilt and trim buttons on the shifter a little switch that says "off" and "run" on the shifter itself. Never seeing this switch on a shifter before, I am really curious what it is for....
Since there is no motor in it, I really couldn't run the electric system through all it's paces to see what this switch is for.
Thank you,
wncrjb
