What does it idle at in the water in gear? One of your engines temp sensor has a white/black wire that signals the powerpacks quickstart feature when the engine is cold.Its suppose to advance the timing a few degrees until engine reaches a predetermined temp(several seconds after starting) and then drop back.Sounds like you are experiencing the opposite.<br /><br />If what you are experiencing is quickstart related ,the first thing I would suspect is the temp sensor.However ,I'm not convinced that the quickstart is your problem yet.Does the engine run fine at all throttle settings in the water otherwise?
