Absolutely! Remember..... about 7 months of serious cold weather...... must be able to handle a gun and put up with the rest of the country poking fun at us.

The cold weather is gonna be a little hard to overcome. Here we have spring (which is like 85-90 degrees), summer, more summer, and a little cool peroid for our seasons.
The handling a gun part is a no brainer, we're taught that about the same time we learn to walk.
As far as people making fun of ya, well, thats what the guns for.


I did notice that ya'll have medical marijuana. I don't have any of the dieseses that qualify for its use but just give me a little time and I'll make it.

We have this in Holland to the school decides on collor wich kid can go tho that school so there are an equal amount of blacks an whites.
So what happens is if you can pay for it you send your kid to a pivat school.
Or as many do you move out of the city an move to litlle towns like mine.

It is fackt in Holland there are kids of foreyng parants who go to school and dont eaven speek Dutch,
How do we teach them to read and write when the only thing thy speek is a language only thy speek.

In our hood, the population is already "deverse". We, as a community, accept all decent people into it. We still have some idiot-bussing, due to "magnet" schools and prefered schools. But for the most part, Lee county SB says, "you're a kid.. Get in line with the rest".
It took a long time and a lot of angry PTO meetings, and some are still not happy. You'll always have the Whiner family living in a home near you.

Here in america when what you describes happens you are then branded a racist. Who said Dutch was the official language of your country, and if they did they are clearly racists. You owe it to have teachers who speak whatever language your students speak. And your government should print everything in every language or face being sued. It is the taxpayers responsibility to feed the children, give healthcare to all children , house them, clothe them, educate them in the language of their choice (even languages that don't officially exist like ebonics), citizens or not.

If all goes well, you will have a new dependant class and a dependable voting block.

Such is the state here in the United States. It is reverse racism and it is just as wrong.

Given the Nutty ideas teachers have to cope with, it's a wonder any can teach effectively. Students should be sent to school ready to learn and if not, sent home.

Well Milwaukee Pulic Schools has a less than 50% graduation rate. I wouldn't say they are effectively teaching anything there. Many teachers are the finest type of person. Unfortunately there are nutcase parents, liberals, unions, social engineers, and trial lawyers, just to name a few working against those good teachers.

My point exactly. Some of our best schools are in "poor" rural areas and have the student performance tests to prove it. A stable family and personal pride are the ball game regardless of wealth or stature.

A teacher has to give class to 20 or more children if one or two (non imigrants but born in holland)Parrents dont speak a decent language to let us teach them to speak duch first or dont teach them at all.
And just send the kid to a school with kids who all have the same problem (and yes ar all from Islamitic countries.
It is not posible to teach all teachers every language.

do not speak duch there is a problem with the parent not a problem with the school.
How much atention do you think your kid gets if it is in that classroom.

And yes maby im a racist but i just want the best education for my future kid.

And its a shame but they only get this in a school where the most kids are from the EU.

Turin, in my opinion you have your priorities in the right place. I paid school taxes for years and never had a child in public schools. We hurt financially at times in order to pay tuition in private schools but never wavered. My two children ( both adopted) are articulate, compassionate, high performing adults now with families of their own and I would do it all over again the same way in a heartbeat.
