Anyone have any good suggestions on how to tighten up the plug that goes into the back of your radio. The boat is brand new but hate to take it in for something like this. The plug is a little square plastic deal that simply plugs into the back of the radio. When I hit waves it is coming unplugged. Any ideas or should I just take it in?

check and see if the wiring is maybe a little too tight and helping yank out the plug...the only other thing would be to put a small wood wedge between plug and radio casing...?toothpick?

You can also use something like a cable tie to take the strain off the cable so it not pulling back on the cable. Many radios have a plug that have a screw lock and warer resistance.

How about a dab of silicone to stick it inplace?

Your boat isn't made to hit waves :)
