WOW Now you're dating yourself. I haven't seen a walkman in over 10 years. Most of the population have graduated to MP3 players. If you don't like the ear buds, they have inexpensive speakers that hook to the player and they sound quite nice. No battery drainage issues at all and over 500 songs, commercial free.

I own two Walkmans. Both MP3 players They still carry the name.
