Guys,
I have searched and found the solution to my problem. However I have questions on how to fix the problem.
At 1/2 throttle up to WOT, I get a huge V of water shooting out behind the boat and going over the top of the engine housing. From what I have read on here, I need to raise my motor up a bit. Is there a general rule of thumb on where the plate above the prop needs to match up on the bottom of the boat?
Also, my motor is in the lowest position on the transom but if I raise it the hooks that go over the transom won't be resting on top of it anymore. Do i need to place a board on top of the transom to get it to hook on? Or are those hooks even important?
Thanks in advance for the help.
